About this scheme

With customer expectations becoming increasingly demanding in today’s service-led economy, the ability to respond with higher levels of service is integral to our continued success as one of the world’s leading digital transformation companies. As such, this 12-18-month programme is dedicated to teaching you what it takes to deliver first-class customer service every time, using a combination of technological and networking tools.

Through a combination of hands-on experience and off-site training, you’ll develop the knowledge, skills and confidence that will set you well on your way to becoming a successful IT Customer Service professional on our busy IT Service Desk. So, if you have a passion for technology and effective interpersonal and communication skills, this programme is perfect for you.

What you’ll cover

We understand that quality customer service is about utilising a variety of skills and attributes, particularly when it comes to a technology organisation like Atos. So, you’ll learn how to understand your customers’ needs and priorities, to give timely and effective responses to their IT queries and issues. You’ll spend quality time developing communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, all key skills for effective customer service. We’ll also focus on training you on our systems, technologies and the products and services we offer, that will help you successfully meet our customers’ needs.

This programme will leave you confidently equipped to develop a successful customer service career within the technology environment at Atos.

Qualifications you will achieve as part of your IT Customer Service Apprenticeship

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship (England only)
  • Customer Service SCQF Level 5 Apprenticeship (Scotland only)

Entry requirements

Our standard entry requirements apply: five GCSEs / Scottish National 5’s or equivalent at grades 4-9 / A-C (including Maths and English).

IT Customer Service Apprentice

Working on our busy IT Service Desk, you’ll be part of a dedicated team providing first class IT customer support in a live call environment. Supporting high-profile clients, your interpersonal skills as well as your technical skills will be developed as you troubleshoot IT issues on the phone with end users to provide timely and effective fixes. Using our internal systems, you’ll log key incidents and refer issues to specialist teams, where further investigation is required. You’ll receive comprehensive training and development on all aspects of the role, to ensure you can communicate well with our customers, using your initiative and a range of tools to resolve a multitude of IT issues.

Livingston

IT Customer Service Apprentice
