If you’re interested in helping Atos to get valuable working software out in front of active users, and improving the quality of digital services, then there’s no better place to start than our Level 4 (18-24 month programme) DevOps Engineer Apprenticeship. During the programme we combine classroom training with hands on experience, with modules designed to teach you both the technical and business skills you need to thrive in a long-term career as a DevOps Engineer.

You’ll work on projects for a well-known public sector client, and will be involved in designing, developing and maintaining our customer facing outputs tooling. You will follow waterfall and agile development processes and be involved in writing technical documentation following the development that you do.

You’ll be part of a small team, so being open to learning from colleagues, not being afraid to ask questions and the ability to get involved in team discussions is important to us.

What you’ll cover

We support all our DevOps Engineer apprentices in achieving a DevOps Engineer level 4 qualification. The programme, together with the support from your team will give you everything you need to be successful.

Qualifications you’ll achieve as part of your DevOps Engineer Apprenticeship:

• Level 4 DevOps Engineer Apprenticeship standard (national qualification)

Entry requirements

For this scheme you’ll need 5 GCSEs / Scottish National 5’s or equivalent at grades 4-9 / A-C (including English) plus GCSE in Maths grade 6-9 / B or above

AND be educated to level 3 in an IT based subject e.g. A-levels, BTEC Extended diploma, or Level 3 Apprenticeship
