Our Business Administration Apprenticeship is your opportunity to gain the confidence and experience you need to get a real head start. Working in the Health & Life Science (HLS) area, this 12-18 month programme will develop you into a capable team member, with real skills and responsibilities to drive the rest of your career.

Throughout the course you’ll learn and use skills that will support you in a wide range of business and administration tasks. As you progress, you’ll take on more responsibility, and by the time you’ve completed your apprenticeship you’ll be a trusted professional, ready to contribute to live projects and progress your career. If you like being well organised and analysing information, and you have great communications skills, this programme is for you.

What you’ll cover

You’ll develop some of the most essential business skills around. From a technical perspective, your modules will cover the general principles of business, reporting and analysing data, and managing budgets, resources and change. But you’ll also receive plenty of support to improve your soft skills, which are just as important. This will include planning your time, presenting at meetings, directly serving our customers and building relationships with people across the business.

Working in rotation you will build experiences for example in the areas of process, project, service, governance and communication and quality management. We’ll give you everything you need to operate as a fully-fledged business professional.

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship

Entry requirements

Our standard entry requirements apply: A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent (grade 4-9 / A-C) including Maths and English.
