Sustainable Supply Chain

Atos Zero Paper

Atos is happy to announce that as part of our commitment to continuous improvement our Purchase to Pay process has been optimised, and we will gradually move from paper to electronic purchase orders and invoices over the next 18 months.

This ambitious project called Atos Zero Paper fully meets our Atos Sustainability values.

This project is run in cooperation with our partner Ariba and it aims at delivering sustainable benefits to Atos and suppliers alike.

The usage of Ariba Network will offer our suppliers multiple benefits, including:

  • Better visibility of invoice status
  • Real-time PO and invoice delivery for quicker fulfillment, identification of discrepancies, and issues solving
  • Reduction in administrative expenses for items such as postage, printing, status chasing and mailroom handling

Should you have questions please do not hesitate to contact us at or via your regular contact within our Atos procurement team.

Evaluation of suppliers

Atos has developed a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, with a main objective of being able to manage the impacts of the company’s operations in a responsible manner.
In this context, one of the objectives of the procurement process is to integrate social and environmental factors in our supplier solution and management process.

Since 2009, Atos conducts an analysis of the social and environmental performance of a portion of its supplier portfolio each year.
This assessment is conducted by EcoVadis on the behalf of Atos.
The EcoVadis methodology is supervised by a scientific committee, comprised of recognized CSR experts.
Suppliers are invited by Ecovadis to answer a questionnaire tailored to their sector of activity, size and geographic scope.
The EcoVadis rating system focuses on the social, ethical, environmental and fair business practices approach of suppliers in their own practices, as well as in the management of their supply chain.
