Atos extends long-term IT outsourcing contract

Munich, 4 August 2016 – Atos, an international leader in digital services, and Thomas Cook AG have agreed on the prolongation of the long-term IT outsourcing contract. During the six and a half years the contract will run, Thomas Cook AG will benefit from mainframe services, SAP hosting, server capacities and network services from Atos.

“We were particularly impressed by the reliable performance and flexible response of Atos to changing needs. All our requirements are fulfilled to our complete satisfaction and our IT can thus react quickly and flexibly to market developments”, says Stefan Seibel, Group Head of IT Continental Europe.

It’s the aim of the international tourism group to continue having the high quality of Atos in the provision of services based on the most modern infrastructure for the core applications. Thanks to greater flexibility and agility, IT can therefore support the core business better and contribute with higher quality to business success.

For Thomas Cook AG Atos will provide IT and infrastructure services: These include the mainframe operation for the European booking system, the server operating for online bookings, SAP as well as associated network services.
