In 2008 and 2009 Sodexo was the highest-ranked company in its industry category, ‘Facility Services’ making it one of the world’s leading outsourcing companies. In the UK, Sodexo provides a range of services including food services, facilities management, and voucher services.
Business Challenge
- The printing system operated for Sodexo had become uneconomic: it was inflexible, people-intensive, and expensive to operate. The out of the box SAP functionality was limited, resulting in employees spending valuable time manually sorting documents. Print quality was considered less than ideal, and ‘e-functionality’, such as delivering reports over the web or via email, was not available.
- Also the output formats from the mainframe application were inconsistent and the manual sorting process left room for human error.
Solution
- Working with Sodexo, Atos provided suggestions on how to improve their printing capability.
We recommended implementing a system called ISIS Papyrus, which we felt would provide new, cost effective functionality such as report merging.
- The ISIS Papyrus suite of Document Management applications offers modular, multi-platform, interconnected solutions, from document design, through transactional processing, to publishing to Web, SMS, or hard copy. The Atos ISIS configuration has been designed for use in a multi-site environment.
