Atos is currently involved in several strategic change programs. Recently Atos has accomplished a new assurance chain within Essent Kabelcom, a large Dutch Cable company, making multiplay possible. Atos delivered a new and improved assurance chain with new IT behind it. Lots of steps in the process were automated. The current design makes further automation and integration in processes possible.
The problem was in the number of incidents and problems not being resolved. In just a year we started with an inventory, winding up saving costs of over €M 11 in 3 years. With a combined team of both Atos and client champions we succeeded in restructuring the chain, the organization behind it, the governance and the IT making it more agile and ready for future business.
Essent Kabelcom is a key player in the Dutch cable industry. The company has over 1,100 employees and is a 100% subsidiary of Essent NV, the leader in the Dutch energy market. The company operates in the field of data-communication and telecommunication, radio, TV, Internet and telephone services, for the consumer market as well as business-to-business.
