Within the Dutch Ministry of Justice, the CJIB (Central fine collecting agency) is an organization with the responsibility for the collection of fines for traffic offences, financial penalties imposed by the Court and proposals for out-of-court settlements of fixed penalties from the police and the Prosecution Service as a means to avoid further criminal proceedings.

Business Challenges

  • A need to comply with additional information requirements regarding differentiation, transparency and separation of cash flows 

  • A need to enable the organization to operate more cost efficiently, without compromising the level of quality of the operation

Solution

  • Atos designed and built a cost price model in line with the new organization and governance structure. This model, build in QPR CostPerform,  is now maintained by the CJIB organization

  • Allowing cost calculations to determine the effects of volume changes  and benchmarking possibilities
