The Vrije Universitiet Amsterdam (VU) wanted to improve the quality of its supporting processes and by doing so improve the quality of education and research. For Human Resources (HR) this meant the improvement of service orientation, proactive working and alignment with the primary processes as well as a reorganization into a HR shared service centre.
