Atos is incorporated in France as a “Société Anonyme” (Joint Stock Corporation) with a Board of Directors chaired by a Chairman and CEO.

Thierry Breton

Thierry Breton was elected member of the Board of Directors, and appointed Chairman and CEO of Atos in February 2009. He is also board member of Carrefour. He was previously executive managing director and then vice chairman of the Bull Group from 1993 to 1996. He later became chairman and CEO of Thomson from 1997 to 2002 and of France Telecom from 2002 to 2005. From February 2005 to May 2007, Thierry Breton was the French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry.
He is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité "Supelec" of Paris and of the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale. He has been honored with the prestigious awards of "Officier de la Légion d'Honneur" and "Commandeur de l'Ordre National du Mérite".
René ABATE
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since February 2009. He is a former member of Atos Supervisory Board. René Abate is senior advisor of The Boston Consulting Group and is also managing partner of Delphen Sarl. He is board member of Carrefour, LFB (Laboratoire Français du Fractionnement et des Biotechnologies). He is also a board member of L’Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and a member of L’ENVOL pour les enfants européens, a non-profit association.
Nicolas BAZIRE
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since February 2009. Nicolas Bazire is also a member of the supervisory board of Rothschild & Cie Bank, and managing director of Arnault Group. He is a member of the board of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton Group, Suez Environnement and of Carrefour.
Jean-Paul BECHAT
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since February 2009. He is a former chairman and CEO of Snecma, former chairman of the management board of Safran. He is also managing director of Arsco SARL and director of Alstom and Sogepa. He is Honorary Chairman and member of the board of the Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales (GIFAS) and member of the Supervisory Board of IMS (International Metal Service).
Dr Roland Busch
Member of the Atos Board of Directors since July 2011. Dr Roland Busch is Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG and CEO for Infrastructure and Cities at Siemens. He joined Siemens in 1994 in the Corporate Research and Development Department. Since then he has held various roles across the Group including Head of Infotainment Solutions Division, President and CEO for Siemens VDO Automotive Asia Pacific, Head of Mass Transit Division and Head of Corporate Strategies.
Ms. Jean FLEMING
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since May 2009, elected as shareholder employees’ representative. Jean Fleming is Human Resources Director for Atos in the UK and her role is to ensure that the views and rights of shareholder employees are represented in the Board of Directors. Jean Fleming has over 15 years experience in HR and joined Atos in 2004 as HR manager for the Healthcare service line. She was then promoted to HR Director in February 2007. Since June 2007 Jean Fleming has been Employee Representative on the Atos FCPE, ‘Atos Stock Plan’.
Lionel ZINSOU-DERLIN
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since 2010. Lionel Zinsou-Derlin held various positions at Rothschild before joining PAI Partners where he presides today the Executive Committee. He is also Director of several branches of PAI Europe, Sodima, Yoplait, CHR Hansen Holding A/S and Kaufman & Broad (France). He is also Manager of Capucine Investments.
Bertrand MEUNIER
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since February 2009. He is a former Member of Atos Supervisory Board. He is Chairman of Financière Le Play SAS.
He was previously member of the executive committee of PAI Partners in charge of all investments.
Ms. Aminata NIANE
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since May 2010. She is also general manager of the National Agency in charge of the Promotion of Investments and large Works (APIX) in Senegal since 2000, and the chairman of the board of directors of the International Airport Blaise Diagne (Dakar, Senegal) since 2006.
Michel PARIS
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since February 2009. He is a former member of Atos Supervisory Board. He is director of Gruppo Coin, Monier, Xella, Cortefiel and Speedy 1 Ltd. He joined PAI Partners in 1984, covering investments in the ICT sector, then in charge of investments in the retail and services sectors.
Pasquale PISTORIO
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since February 2009. He is honorary chairman of SGS-Thomson Microelectronics (STMicroelectronics) after having also been its chairman and CEO. He is honorary chairman of ST foundation and chairman of Sagem Wireless (France). He is a former chairman of the board at Telecom Italia, he was also an independent director of Fiat S.p.A and a member of the internal consultative committee for the government of Singapore.
Vernon L. SANKEY
Member of the Board of Directors of Atos since February 2009. He is a former member of Atos Supervisory Board. He is chairman of Firmenich SA (Switzerland) and a director of Zurich Financial Services AG. He is also member and advisor to GLP Llp and member of Pi Capital in the UK. He advises numerous companies on their investments, particularly on private equity. He was previously CEO of Reckitt and Colman.
Colette NEUVILLE (Censor)
Appointed as censor of the Board of Directors in April 2010, she is a former member of Atos Supervisory Board. In 1991, she created the Defence of Minority Shareholders (ADAM), association she is still heading. She is also director of Eurotunnel (now GET SA), a member of the European Forum on Corporate Governance with the European Commission, a member of the Consultative Commission “savers and minority shareholders” of the AMF and member of the Board of Ecole de Droit & Management of Paris.
