Atos Worldline presents its solutions at this year’s MEDICA – World Forum for Medicine, for the electronic health insurance card and electronic identification card.

Atos Worldline exhibits from November 16th until 19th, 2011 at the Medica in Düsseldorf, hall 15/booth A17, with solutions for safe handling of patient data and independent access at the eKiosk, through which direct electronic communication with pharmacies is possible.
Atos Worldline, as a long-term partner of health insurances concentrates on optimized process and data management of the different ranges as there are: safe management of patient data, mobility for employees of the healthcare sector as well as healthcare administration.
Atos Worldline connects customer requirements with modern, customer-friendly applications, as for instance the Card-Application-Management-System the so called „eGK KAMS“ developed by Atos Wordline, which will be demonstrated at the trade show. This solution presents the entire life-cycle of the electronic health insurance card.
The platform „eGK Kiosk“ offers the possibility of an electronic communication channel for health insurances and medical insurance companies, hospitals and fitter of medical practices, pharmacies and rehabilitation facilities. It enables the medically insured to illustrate his own electronic health insurance card data via a user-friendly self-service terminal, and offers an applications for emergency cases, which enables the patient to release or block emergency data. Address amendments can be communicated per online form to the medical insurance company and the electronic health insurance card can be updated.
The component „eGK Service“ demonstrates how the personal support of the insured is implemented at each workplace of the consultant. With the Atos Worldline solution „Pay4Med“ the payment processing of practice fees, medical treatments or prescriptions of the insured at the doctors or in the pharmacies is demonstrated and shows the ability to handle payment via the electronic health insurance card.
The solution „eIdenty“ offers the administration of authorization certificates, as well as the readout of the electronic identity data of the new identity card.
